A year ago, I made one of the most crucial decision of my life and never looked back. It was a hard decision but nonetheless, it has to be made and worth it.
Davao Digital Influencers was formed by a group of bloggers who envisioned a group who influencers to make a difference thus the first SEC-registered social media organization was formed. Making a milestone is of course taking the road less travelled and would create a ripple that other people might not necessary like but this decision liberated me in my outlook as a blogger.
It has further opened a bigger channel for me to get to know people and contribute to the community to share what we know even to simple people. It has also allowed me to partner with the city government to promote Davao Ciry and Mindanao tourism in general. It has taken me to places and strengthen my belief to the younger generation that social media will be used wisely to engage, influence and make a difference.
While creating another social media organization has shaken the Davao community, I am thankful for my DDI family and my awesome friends for making a bold move that I will forever be proud of.
