One of the things I learned while working for a huge hotel company is that location matters and positioning with location matters even more! What brings people together better than food? I guess none. Known to many other cultures, food is the Filipino’s way of saying “hello”. If you don’t understand what I am saying, try to visit any Filipino household and the first thing that you will hear them asking you is “kumain ka na ba?” (“have you eaten?”) regardless of the time for the day.
Any great dining experience is qualified by great food and great service.
We went straight to where the social media hype is and it was sitting along Legaspi (Pelayo) Street near Rizal. Bramble is the latest addition to the Bondi group which highlights fresh and healthy produce.
This is probably the longest time it took me to sort out photos from my food shoots not because I don’t have enough photos that I can share but because I have to stop myself from sharing everything in one blog post! But seriously, this pit stop for our fifth resto during the Davao Food Crawl made me so excited to take photos and enjoy the dishes at the same time.

The search to define Filipino cuisine is an endless adventure but for most Filipinos, and Davaoenos, we would have a generic idea of what it is by pointing out our favorite home cook dishes with recipes handed down by mothers to daughters and to the families thereafter.
