The year is almost up and what else could happen? Many things—good and bad. I really do not know what else to say aside from after contemplating whether it is best to promote businesses at this time or not, I realized that regardless of what happened, we can only be optimistic, resilient, and still grateful for whatever blessing that we receive this year.
Speaking of resiliency, the tourism industry has always been taking all the blows whenever there is a crisis—pandemic or natural disaster so I think that whenever we go on a vacation, dine out, or even just to get away somewhere for a respite, let’s always keep in mind how our brothers and sisters in this industry have taken all the punches, budgetary cuts, time offs and unimaginable sacrifices yet they still give you their warm welcome and heartfelt smiles.
This season, we know that the business has started its “bouncing back” phase. Here is an update on one of the industry leaders for their holiday offerings.
Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort
Holidays at Lubi package offers an overnight stay accommodation at the newest place-to-be-seen—Lubi Plantation. This package includes full board meals and a holiday treat enjoying a tropical retreat. This package starts at Php21,000 net per stay.
Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve Dinner offers will allow you to book a table to welcome Christmas Day or the New Year at the island! There are very limited seats so reserve them now at rates starting at Php15,000 (table for 4 to 5 persons).
