I started my favorite month, my birth month, with a quick trip to the capital region for a Saturday morning event with Airsia and Comco. Together with Davao media and bloggers, we flew to Metro Manila and attended the official launch of AirAsia’s Supperapp.
Mobile applications are not just tools to help you book your flights to your next travel. The recent event we attended with AirAsia has introduced us to their Superapp where traveling and booking your accommodation and transport is made super convenient. Yes, booking your flight, accommodation, transport, and even shopping or dining can be done in one application as Capital A has ventured to an online travel agency (OTA) with AirAsia Superapp.
AirAsia Superapp Features
The new Superapp is not just a tool to book your Airasia trip to the next local and international destination but it can also book other flights to other airlines especially if you need connectivity to areas not serviced by Airsia yet.
Other features include:
-Explore and book hotels and accommodation
-Find your transportation and trips like airport transfers
-Get exclusive deals in retail shops and partner establishments
-Shopping and even arranging reservations to restaurants (not yet available in the Philippines)
The event was also filled with activities and games with prizes that we were able to try and get rewards for that day. A quick program with the Airasia Superapp team walked us through the updates and answered some questions during the Q&A. Of course, the event will not be possible without meeting good old friends and making new ones before we head home to Davao City.
