Since the pandemic started, I wanted to try making things on my own more often. I think life amidst the pandemic took away some chances to roam around the city and have some relaxing moments while eating my favorite meryenda, watching the by-passers in front of me.
Luckily, I have ingredients at home that can make appetizing desserts just like Tiramisu. I know, some ways of making Tiramisu look complicated but I made my own version of simple and no-bake Tiramisu with Biscoff biscuit. Here’s how:
Ingredients
2 tablespoons of black coffee
2 teaspoons of white sugar
250 ml of All-purpose cream
Cream cheese
2 teaspoons of vanilla
Cocoa powder
Procedure
- Mix the all-purpose cream, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, and 2 teaspoons of white sugar. You can use an electric mixer to make it foamier.
- Add the cream cheese and mix again.
- Mix the coffee and cold water in a separate bowl.
- Start the layer by dipping the Biscoff biscuit in the coffee. Take note to do dip it quickly as it easily gets soggy.
- Lay the dipped Biscoff biscuits in a tray then spread the cream mixture.
- Make 2-3 layers.
- Dust some cocoa powder on top of it.
- Refrigerate for 8-24 hours for the Biscoff biscuit to soften.
I enjoyed my own version of Tiramisu without putting some liquor or egg on it. As I mention, I made it simple.
So if you are bored at home and want to eat dessert, you may opt to follow those easy steps.
