Romantic Weekend at DusitD2 Davao

February 8, 2023

February may only have 28 days (or 29 days every 4 years) but it doesn’t go short on occasion. We will always remember February as Valentine’s month. This year, however, the fourteenth falls on a Tuesday so I think it’s going to be a very long weekend for our friends in the tourism industry.

Staycation packages for Valentine’s Season

For couples who wanted to celebrate over the weekend before the 14th, DusitD2 Davao is offering staycation packages. This is inclusive of a dinner buffet for two. You can book a room for a relaxing stay and go on your romantic dinner at Madayaw Cafe. You can also try their 5-course dinner at the Ballroom for a more romantic fine dining experience.

Romantic Dining Options

You can also opt to just go on a dinner date (without staying) from February 11 to 14 at Madayaw Cafe. However, I would highly recommend the Valentine’s Day (February 14) fine dining at the Ballroom. If I recall correctly, they will open their ballroom for couples’ date after a fully-booked event last year. Yes, their Valentine’s dinner event last year sold like hot pancakes! ❤️

We had the chance to sample some of the food highlights for Valentine’s which were prepared by their new Executive Chef Piya Suthasiri. Some of the dishes you should try would include Leg of Lamb, Fritto Misto (mixed fried seafood), Salmon Gravlax, Salt Crusted Lapu-Lapu, and their finest selection of mouth-watering desserts! I’ve tried their dessert from cupcakes to cream puffs, macarons, and their mousse cake. I am drooling even from just the thought of it! 🤤
